So please name the specific people who still need to be punished for the Sandusky coverup, and please explain how killing football would be preferable for those people than jail time would. The Board of Trustees should’ve resigned by now? The Board of Trustees does not play football.

Go after Sandusky and everyone having anything to do with these crimes. Bill O’Brien didn’t rape those children. The players didn’t rape those children. That ugly-ass PSU mascot didn’t rape those children. All of those proud PSU Football fans didn’t rape those children. Makes no sense to punish the football program.

Where Were You When…?

Growing up, we always hear our parents say “I’ll always remember where I was when Kennedy was shot” or when we landed on the moon or whatever huge event. My generation has some of those, most notably 9-11.

However, as a Mets fan, I will always remember where I was on June 1, 2012 when Johan Santana pitched the Mets’ first no-hitter in their 51 years. I just got out of work and remember standing at the Exton Amtrak station, in the pouring rain, around the 7th inning. The Mets have had no-hitters that late before, Niese even had one this year. But then, on the train ride home, it happened. I honestly don’t remember the 30 minute train ride back to Philly. All I remember is having a stupid grin on my face and a tear in my eye. Finally.
